Multiple communities in Kansas have had damage after reported tornadoes and severe storms.

A tornado touched down just north of Chico on Sunday, April 12, according to Nathan Rick, a meteorologist for the National Weather Service's Sacramento office. The tornado occurred amid a thunderstorm and warnings of other phenomena such as hail over the weekend.

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Kan. (WIBW) - A tornado touched down near Pomona on Monday night. According to the National Weather Service ( NWS ), a tornado touched down four miles east of Pomona at 7:21 p.m. The tornado was moving east at 25 mph.

There have been three tornado confirmations from the NWS. Tornado damage in Ottawa and Spring Hill and a confirmed tornado near Mound City.
