The suspect in the terror attack at a synagogue in Manchester, U.K., on Thursday had been identified by police as Jihad al-Shamie, 35.

British police on Friday named the two men killed in an attack on a Manchester synagogue as Adrian Daulby, 53, and Melvin Cravitz, 66, who were both local residents.

“This is every rabbi’s or every Jewish person’s worst nightmare,” said Rabbi Jonathan Romain, of Maidenhead Synagogue and head of the Rabbinic Court of Great Britain.
