KOCO 5 Chief Meteorologist Damon Lane says there is a 20% chance of snow Thursday morning for central and western Oklahoma. This will bring light snow showers into the morning hours. The winter weather will start in the Panhandle before trying to make a run into the western parts of the state.
A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 9 AM CST for central, northwest, and southwest Oklahoma, with light freezing rain and sleet possibly creating icy conditions.
While forecasters aren't predicting a major winter event, some areas of Oklahoma will likely see snowfall on Sunday.

Snow chances are low for much of the state, with central Oklahoma only seeing a 20 percent chance for frozen precipitation. Chances bump up closer to the Kansas border, with Woodward to Bartlesville having a 40 percent chance of wintry weather on Monday.
