Arsenal: Mikel Arteta issues new Bukayo Saka injury update ahead of Manchester United showdown
Mikel Arteta has revealed Bukayo Saka did not start at Nottingham Forest because the winger has been dealing with “a niggle” and Arsenal need to “manage” him. Saka started on the bench at the City Ground, as Arsenal missed an opportunity to move nine points clear at the top of the Premier League as they were held to a 0-0 draw.
Over the weekend, Gyokeres was taken off after 57 minutes as the Gunners were held to a goalless draw against Nottingham Forest. Now, Richards has called for head coach Mikel Arteta to select £45m forward Gabriel Jesus over Gyokeres ahead of this weekend’s match against Manchester United.
