A woman accused of leading law enforcement on a chase all the way from Simi Valley to the U.S.-Mexico border has returned to the U.S. and turned herself in.

The California Highway Patrol is in pursuit of a driver in a stolen vehicle on the northbound 405 Freeway on Monday morning. The pursuit first started in Ventura County where authorities were following a woman in a gray Toyota Sienna.

Caltrans will implement overnight lane reductions along Interstate 405 through the Sepulveda Pass for median barrier work as part of a pavement rehabilitation project. Work begins after 9 p.m. Wednesday,

BELLEVUE, Wash. — A shutdown on Interstate 405 will complicate weekend travel and could lead to congestion. Eastside drivers may need to plan ahead and use detours as the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) widens I-405 and adds express toll lanes.

Another weekend shutdown will make drivers detour on southbound Interstate 405 near Renton, while shorter projects will detour some travelers on Bothell’s Highway 522, as well as some riders on Sound Transit’s light rail 1 Line.
