A judge decided the case of Precious Bland on the second day of her bench trial​, meaning without a jury, agreeing with the defense that she was experiencing a psychotic episode related to COVID-19.

Precious Bland, 43, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder after drowning her baby daughter in 2021.
