The town of Bat Cave in Henderson County saw some severe flash flooding after heavy rain late Monday night. The area was among the hardest hit by Hurricane Helene and is still feeling the effects. The Bat Cave fire chief told WFMY News 2 that several roads have been washed up towards Gerton and that the area saw over 4 inches of rain before midnight.
