The Sun Devils did not earn their first winning streak as members of the Big 12 on Saturday night.

A day after Arizona softball upset Oklahoma in the series opener, the Sooners returned the favor with a resounding beatdown Saturday. Arizona let OU get 21 runs across the plate in a game that was all but over after the first inning of play.

On bars, it was the latter part of the lineup that led the way, as Ella Zirbes, Ana Padurariu and Avery Neff reeled off three 9.90s in a row to tie for the event title. That closing effort helped Utah avoid counting both of its earlier scores under 9.725.

The Sun Devils entered Saturday needing another victory to continue boosting momentum.
