Good news for people who regret the Gmail address they came up with when they registered for an account: Google is now letting users change it.

Google will let Gmail users change their email address without creating a new account, keeping all files and settings intact.

After changing a Google Account email, the previous email will become an alternate email address, and you will continue to receive emails to both your old and new addresses.
