"Queen of Tejano" Selena died 30 years ago this month. A parole board declined to release her killer, Yolanda Saldívar, this week.
Yolanda Saldivar was convicted for the murder of singer Selena and sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole in 30 years in 1995. The Texas Board of Pardons and Parole told PEOPLE on Thursday the reason her parole was denied.
