While history was made Tuesday night at Cintas Center as Xavier pummeled Morgan State, 119-56, one cloud that remained was the surprise that guard Trey Green was inactive. Green did not dress for the Musketeers and spent the game in street clothes on the Xavier bench.

Xavier sophomore guard Trey Green is taking an indefinite leave of absence from the Musketeers to address a health-related issue.

The fact that Xavier doesn't have a whole lot of other options probably helps him out a bit, too. Trey Green is the kind of live wire of a player and personality that is built for the Shootout; it's a shame that this comes on the eve of Xavier's crosstown rivalry.
