A man has died after he was reportedly stabbed during a fight Saturday night in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Woonsocket Police Chief Thomas Oates tells NBC10 Boston affiliate WJAR that several people were involved in an altercation in the street outside 380 Social Street.

Woonsocket police have identified the victim killed in a stabbing that happened on Saturday night. According to Police Chief Thomas Oates, just after 6 p.m., police were called to a disturbance in the area of 380 Social Street where several people were fighting.

While we still don't have ID's on either the victim, or any potential suspects, we do know that one man who was stabbed was declared dead at Landmark Medical Center. Woonsocket police were called for reports of the stabbing just after 6 this evening at the Elks Lodge parking lot on Social Street.
