Stocks are closing with solid gains as Wall Street puts the finishing touches on one of its best months of the year. The S&P rose 0.7% while the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 188 points, or 0.4%.

U.S. stocks rose to records after Donald Trump’s latest talk about tariffs created only some ripples on Wall Street

U.S. stocks are climbing after market superstar Nvidia and another round of companies said they’re making even fatter profits than expected.

Stocks are off to a mixed start on Wall Street as losses for Big Tech companies offset gains elsewhere in the market. The S&P 500 was down 0.1% in the early going Wednesday, even though far more stocks were rising than falling within the index.

World shares are mixed after losses for big technology stocks pulled major indexes lower on Wall Street. Tokyo advanced while markets in China declined.

Thanksgiving holiday. The Nasdaq and New York Stock Exchange are both closed on Thanksgiving and will re-open on Nov. 29, but shut down early at 1 p.m. ET. The U.S. bond market will also be closed on Thursday and are scheduled to close at 2 p.

U.S. stocks opened higher on Black Friday, the final session of what's been a stellar month for the market. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 73 points, or 0.2%. The benchmark S&P 500 climbed 0.1%,
