Tornado warnings were issued for most of Southeast Michigan on Thursday, late afternoon and evening, as strong storms moved through the area.

The National Weather Service reported widespread property damage, downed trees and power lines, stranded vehicles and flooding across Southeast Michigan.

Severe weather ravaged Michigan, leaving over 250,000 without power, with tornado warnings affecting more than 3 million residents across several counties.
