Protesters have gathered across Georgia in a third straight night of demonstrations against the government’s decision to suspend negotiations to join the European Union

Georgians unhappy with delaying the country's EU membership talks have flooded Tbilisi's streets for the third night in a row. Clashes with the police erupted outside parliament, in an effort to disperse the protesters.

Thousands demonstrated in Tbilisi, Georgia, after the country said it had suspended its bid to join the European Union for four years. The police used tear gas and water cannons on protesters outside the Parliament building.
