Trailing by three runs in the top of the ninth inning, San Francisco’s finally found life against the Rockies’ Zach Agnos. Casey Schmitt led off the top of the inning with a solo home run, trimming the deficit to 5-3, then Tyler Fitzgerald and Andrew Knizner followed Schmitt by drawing back-to-back walks.

Mike Yastrzemski hit the go-ahead RBI single in the ninth inning, Willy Adames and Casey Schmitt homered and the San Francisco Giants beat Colorado Rockies 6-5 on Tuesday night for their sixth win in a row — all by one run.

The Giants got off to a hot start, with Jung Hoo Lee tripling to lead off the game. Willy Adames hit a sacrifice fly to score Lee and the Giants were up quickly on the Rockies. Luckily, the damage was limited and the Rockies were able to answer back in the second inning with a Brenton Doyle double and Ryan Ritter single to tie the game.
