After torrential rainfall and widespread flooding over the past 36 hours, conditions will quiet down heading into the weekend.
With heavy rain pouring in overnight and throughout Thursday afternoon, Bexar County, the City of Live Oak, the City of Converse announced park closures due to weather and flooding.
As of 7:50 a.m. customers are dealing with power outages all around the city, with upwards of 50 outages reported near Garden Ridge, 40-plus near Wurzbach Parkway, and more than 20 near downtown. Currently, the CPS Energy outage map does not state the time of restoration.
