Puyallup police are searching for three people who used a stolen excavator to steal an ATM machine early Saturday morning.Officers responded to the 1500 block of East Main after receiving reports of people in ski masks and dark clothing stealing an ATM.

The Puyallup Police Department is asking people and businesses near East Main Street and River Road to check their surveillance cameras. Detectives are looking for video that may help them catch three people who used a stolen excavator to steal an ATM.

Police believe the suspects stole the excavator from a construction worksite near the 400 block of River Road in Puyallup and used it to drive to the ATM machine and load it into the truck. The pickup truck was stolen from a location in Kitsap County. The investigation is ongoing, the release said.
