Pakistan red-ball coach Jason Gillespie has taken a strong stance against the Mohsin Naqvi-led cricket board by refusing to travel with the squad for the Test series against South Africa.

Pakistan will be facing South Africa in a two-match Test series starting from December 26. However, as per reports, Test head coach Jason Gillispie has refused to travel to South Africa for the series.

Pakistan’s red-ball head coach Jason Gillespie has reportedly opted out of the team’s upcoming Test series against South Africa.

It has now emerged that Gillespie, a former Australian pacer, is upset with a few recent decisions of the PCB. He was to fly out to South Africa along with the Test squad via Dubai on Thursday but there was no sign of Gillespie. It is believed that he has sent in his resignation. A query to the PCB remained unanswered.

Despite Nielsen expecting a fresh contract from PCB, reports earlier revealed that the board was against extending his contract, which even led to Gillespie re-evaluating his stin
