The driver accused of fatally striking and killing two people in Chinatown over the weekend was arraigned on murder charges Tuesday and denied bail after prosecutors revealed she was packing heat inside her vehicle.

Two people were killed when a driver struck pedestrians in Manhattan's Chinatown Saturday morning. It happened at around 7:30 a.m. at Canal Street and Broadway.

The passenger in the stolen Chevy Malibu that struck and killed two bystanders was charged with gun possession after cops found a weapon in the truck.

Police said two women in their 20’s were driving the Malibu when it slammed into the two victims. They initially tried to leave on foot but police said they took both women into custody and neither had serious injuries. The NYPD said it had not filed charges as of Saturday afternoon.
