Stock market experts are remaining cautiously optimistic on the market due to recent recovery. However, the market is expected to remain volatile in the coming week with key global and domestic events lined up.

The Indian stock market ended the week on a strong note, posting its biggest weekly gain of 2025. The Nifty 50 snapped a three-week losing streak, rising nearly 2%, while the Sensex also registered gains.

The Nifty 50 finished the day on a trade lower note, closing 7 points or 0.03% at 2,538 while the Sensex ended the session 31 points or 0.04% at 74,309. The Nifty Bank settled 180 points or 0.37% lower at 48,448.

The trends on Gift Nifty also indicate a negative start for the Indian benchmark index. The Gift Nifty was trading around 22,555 level, a discount of nearly 65 points from the Nifty futures’ previous close.

The NSE Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex snapped two-day gaining streak on Friday. The Nifty 50 ended 0.03% higher, while Sensex ended 0.01% down. The benchmark indices snapped a three-week losing streak.
