By Tatyana Kekic in Belgrade EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos cancelled a planned visit to Serbia on September 4, saying the public “glorification” of convicted Bosnian Serb war criminal Ratko Mladic was incompatible with the values underpinning the country's path towards European Union membership.

A commemoration was held Saturday in Belgrade for war criminal Ratko Mladic two days ahead of his burial, attended by dozens of former military personnel, family members and officials.

Uefa announced late on Friday that Red Star must pay 90,000 euros (£77,000) for breaches including inappropriate chanting and "racist and/or discriminatory behaviour."
