The Los Angeles Dodgers have given Dave Roberts a massive contract extension after winning the World Series in 2024, but he still can't top Chicago Cubs skipper Craig Counsell when it comes to average annual value.

Just like he's set the standard for regular-season performance, Dave Roberts is about to raise the bar for managerial compensation.

The Dodgers officially announced that they gave their manager a four-year, $32.4 million contract, making him the highest-paid manager in the MLB in 2025. Chicago Cubs manager Craig Counsell previously held that title after signing a five-year, $40 million pact ahead of last season.
