Thousands are still without power in Washtenaw and Livingston counties as crews work to repair storm damage. More than 31,000 customers are out of power in Washtenaw County as of 9:30 a.m. Friday, Aug.

Severe storms damaged buildings and toppled trees from Haslett and Williamston into Livingston County. The National Weather Service had not confirmed any Mid-Michigan tornadoes as of early Friday.

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Tornado warnings have expired for the Monroe, Genesee, Orleans, and Livingston County areas. There were multiple observed tornadoes during the Wednesday evening storms.

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, MI - More than 38,000 people are out of power in Livingston County after a severe storm and possible tornado blew through the area. Around 540 outages knocked out power for 38,619 customers in Livingston County as of 4:45 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, according to the DTE Energy Outage Map.

The National Weather Service has issued the severe thunderstorm warning of Livingston County and Shiawassee County until 11:45 a.m. The storms knocked out power to thousands of homes in the area. As of around 10:45 a.m., DTE reported 22,836 customers without power in Livingston County and 2,757 impacted in Ingham County.

Severe thunderstorms have started to roll through the region on Wednesday morning, bringing downpours and strong winds.
