The second Gator to announce his departure from Florida's football program is redshirt junior edge defender Justus Boone. A four-star recruit out of Sumter High (South Carolina), Boone figured to be a key piece of Florida's 2021 recruiting class.

Florida defensive lineman Justus Boone is expected to enter the NCAA transfer portal when it opens, according to a report from On3’s Pete Nakos. Boone is a redshirt junior who has seen other players move past him in the rotation as the Gators defense has come to life in the second half of the season.

The Boilermakers' backup quarterback, who nearly rallied the team to victory at Illinois, will enter his name in the portal to gauge his options.
