South Carolina conducted a multi-name national search for its replacement for athletic director Ray Tanner, and has zeroed in on TCU's Jeremiah Donati.

According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel and Yahoo Sports’ Ross Dellenger, South Carolina is targeting TCU’s Jeremiah Donati for its athletic director position. Donati would take over a gig that opened when South Carolina’s Ray Tanner took on a new role as the school’s athletic director emeritus and senior advisor to the school’s president.
