Jen Pawol became the first female home plate umpire in a Major League Baseball regular-season game on Sunday, calling balls and strikes in Atlanta's 7-1 home victory over Miami.The first called strikeout by Pawol came on a 1-ball,

"I think Jen did a really nice job," Miami manager Clayton McCullough said after Atlanta's 7-1 win over the Marlins. "I think she's very composed back there. She handled and managed the game very well.
