Both houses of Indian parliament were suspended on Monday after disruptions by opposition groups demanding a discussion on bribery allegations against the Adani Group and communal tensions in a northern town.

Leaders from the INDIA bloc staged a protest outside Parliament on Tuesday over the Adani issue, renewing their demand for a joint parliamentary probe.

Proceedings were disrupted for a second day by lawmakers calling for a discussion of US accusations of bribery and fraud against the ports-to-power Adani Group.
