With the MLB trade deadline less than 12 hours away, the Houston Astros are expected to be active in the trade market. After landing Ramon Urias from the Baltimore Orioles late Wednesday night, the Astros are now eyeing some left-handed-hitting outfield options.

HOUSTON — With less than 24 hours until the trade deadline, the Houston Astros have reportedly made a deal. According to MLB.com citing sources, the team traded for third baseman Ramón Urías from the Baltimore Orioles. In exchange, Houston is sending minor league pitcher Twine Palmore to Baltimore.

Diaz explained that he didn't sign with the Astros initially because he was recovering from an injury during his tryout with the team. The next day, July 31st, he joined the Low-A Fayetteville Woodpeckers, playing 12 games before ultimately receiving a call to advance to High-A ball, the Asheville Tourists.
