"Outlander" star Graham McTavish and spinoff stars and showrunner preview the new spinoff series "Blood of My Blood"

Blood of My Blood” stars celebrated the prequel series’ premiere at the Directors Guild of America in Los Angeles on Monday night and were welcomed by the original show’s cast members Graham McTavish and Sam Heughan.

McTavish, who played Dougal MacKenzie in multiple seasons of the original series, stood up during the Q&A portion of Outlander: Blood of My Blood. McTavish asked Sam Retford, the actor who will play the younger version of his character, a question to close the event.
