Thankfully, the Geminids can be seen across the globe, even down here in Florida. The best times to see them are during the night and predawn hours when it's darkest outside. The shower typically starts around 9 or 10 p.m.

During the shower's peak on Friday, you can expect to see between 50 to 150 meteors per hour under a dark sky creating streaks of light as they graze our atmosphere

The Geminids are one of the best and most visible annual meteor showers, when at least 120 meteors can usually be seen per hour. But 2024 will be different, thanks to the year's final full moon.
