The First Alert Weather Team says Tuesday and Wednesday are First Alert Weather Days. A rare Winter Storm Warning is in effect for all of southeast Georgia and inland northeast Florida. The warning means impacts from frozen precipitation are likely to impact travel.

Two forecast models demonstrate the uncertainty of the track and moisture that will determine how much wintry weather the Lowcountry sees starting on Tuesday.

Today is the second of three straight First Alert Weather Days due to extreme cold. The coldest of these wind chills will occur up in the Northwoods. All of north central Wisconsin is under an Extreme Cold Warning until noon on Tuesday.
