Improbably, the Browns held a fourth-quarter lead against the Ravens. But a trick play touchdown by the Ravens’ Mark Andrews did the Browns in.
Mark Andrews scored on a 35-yard run on fourth-and-1 to lift the host Baltimore Ravens to a 23-16 win over the Cleveland Browns on Sunday. The Browns (2-8) stuffed Derrick Henry on third-and-1 so the Ravens (5-5) lined up to push on fourth down with 3:17 left in the game.

Ravens punt, Browns will start on their own 17-yard line. On a third-and-8, Baltimore bum-rushed the pocket and Kyle Hamilton sacked Sanders for a loss of 11 yards. Sanders actually lost the ball in the midst of being sacked, but only Wyatt Teller realized and recovered the ball before anyone else could.
Instead, Baltimore faked the run for another — with tight end Mark Andrew scampering 35 yards for the Ravens’ go-ahead score with 2:31 remaining in the fourth. The rushing touchdown was the first of Andrews’ career and came on the day when the tight end passed Derrick Mason for the most receiving yards in franchise history.
Gabriel did not come out with the Browns to start the second half at Huntington Bank Field while he was being evaluated for a concussion. So, after the Browns got a quick stop, backup quarterback Shedeur Sanders took the field for the first time in his NFL career.
