Tensions rose during cross-examination Monday, Aug. 24, as Clancy’s attorney, Kevin Reddington, appeared to question Dr. Avram Mack’s knowledge of postpartum psychosis

Prosecutors hired Mack, along with another doctor, to interview Clancy earlier this year at Tewksbury Hospital, where she is being held while awaiting the verdict.

Dr. Avram Mack resigned from his position at a children’s hospital in Delaware just days after testifying in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial.

And when Clancy strangled the children, Mack testified that she said, “Go to God.” Mack testified he believed that statement meant she knew her children were innocent when she killed them and that she still did so methodically.

Avram Mack testified on Friday, Aug. 21, and Monday, Aug. 24, as a prosecution rebuttal witness in the nationally watched case against Clancy.
