The Labor Department will release the August jobs report on Friday, providing clues about the health of the labor market as hiring and firing remain broadly at a standstill.
The BLS will release its jobs report today at 8:30 a.m. ET. Economists expect to see 55,000 jobs added and unemployment to stay at 4.1% in August.
