Pierce doesn’t at all seem to be insulting the Raiders as being the worst in football as much as he’s accepting that the tepid public expectations for his team in Friday’s game against quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.

If the players disagree with Pierce, maybe this is his way of trying to pull it out of them. It's all speculation; all we know at this point is the Raiders are 2-9, and their head coach said they're the worst team in the NFL. With all of that, it's sparking some outrage on social media, as you just got a glimpse of it.
